 MICROBE-LIFT/Basic Beneficial Bacteria contains naturally occurring, non-toxic microorganisms. It is safe for all wastewater process systems, humans, lakes, rivers, pets and the environment.
MICROBE-LIFT/Basic Beneficial Bacteria is a spore-based blend of Bacillus species. These aerobic heterotrophs (organic degraders), provide the ability to quickly establish populations necessary for breaking down organic waste from fish, waterfowl, plants and other aquatic life in your pond and aids in quickly establishing a functional population in your pond's filter.
As a result, MICROBE-LIFT/Basic Beneficial Bacteria helps to keep water clean and control build-up of sludge or bottom solids. It also helps to establish denitrification, the biological conversion of nitrate (NO3) to nitrogen gas (N2), which bubbles harmlessly out of your pond reducing the availability of soluble nitrogen, which can stimulate unwanted growth in your pond.
MICROBE-LIFT/Basic Beneficial Bacteria does NOT contain photosynthetic bacteria.
Directions for Use: 20-50 gallon ponds; shock with 4 ozs., then treat with 2 oz. monthly.
51-200 gallon ponds; shock with 6 ozs., then treat with 3 oz. monthly.
201-500 gallon ponds; shock with 8 ozs., then treat with 4 oz. monthly.
501-2000 gallon ponds; shock with 12 ozs., then treat with 8 oz. monthly.
2001-5000 gallon ponds; shock with 16 ozs., then treat with 10 oz. monthly.
Please note site conditions may vary. Optimum results may require increased dosage rates.
Always unplug UV lights for 24 hours when adding bacterial cultures.
Note: If algaecides/herbicides are used to treat the water, apply MICROBE-LIFT cultures 48 hours after algaecide or herbicide applications. |
